Book
under construction--you may contribute ideas:
The author is currently reviewing organized, replicable
programs for groups of children that help "plug children back
into their inner wisdom and sense of oneness to others." Emphasis
is for situations where there are groups of kids vs. ideas for one
or two children at home. Programs to which parents can take their
kids, that neighborhoods can create, or schools and other youth/camp/children's
groups can implement. They need to prove they draw out inner wisdom,
soul, and the desire to contribute along with a secured inner decision
to do no harm. They must not obviously or secretively have a second
agenda of pushing a specific religion. Programs serve groups of children
and teens, both genders and all ages up to age 18. They can be age
or gender specific, but the author is also interested in concepts
that help the genders and ages intermingle with respect and harmony. |

Barbara
Josephine Berst Adams is the author of non-fiction adult and children's
books and a feature writer for national and international magazines. She
has taught inspired writing to adults and children, and is entering the
fiction children's book arena.
She and her artist/photographer
husband, Kipp Davis, live on an island between the fertile Skagit Valley
and the chain of evergreen San Juan Islands in Washington State. They
enjoy the sunny micro-climate of the islands, the nearby Cascade Mountains
and temperate rainforests.
Here they are restoring their
six-acre farm's heirloom gardens, antique apple orchard, wildlife sanctuary
and farm animal experiences for children, and have consulted one of North
America's first sacred architects to plan future outdoor art and structures
based on inspired village, cottage, temple and castle designs.
Also an experienced healer,
Barbara and her husband founded the spiritual non-profit World Grace Foundation,
which works with African orphans, French mysteries, American local economy,
sustainability, the arts, spiritual exploration, and natural healing.
Their travels have taken them
to much of the U.S., to South Africa, Europe and Mexico. They have four
grown children, one grandchild, and a collection of pets and rare breed
farm animals.
